Statement from Take-Two CEO about Netflix’s gaming business
Netflix offered GTA 3, GTA: San Andreas and GTA: Vice City mobile games to its users last December, within the scope of its agreement with Take -Two . The company, which gained millions of new subscribers with this move, may make new agreements with Take-Two.
Strauss Zelnick, CEO of Take-Two Interactive , the parent company of Rockstar Games, the developer of the GTA series, stated that he was satisfied with the agreement they made with Netflix in his statement regarding the company’s financial report.
The CEO continued his statement and stated that they wanted to do more business with the company. This created an expectation in the gaming world that other GTA games could also be added to Netflix . However, there is an important point here.
So much so that, as it is known , Netflix is adding mobile games to its library for now. However, it is estimated that the company can also offer GTA 4 and even GTA 5 , but since there is no mobile version of these productions, it is a matter of curiosity how it will do this.
